To develop a new generation of leaders in clinical oncology research across Latin America through structured, hands-on experience across the entire research cycle, from study conception to scientific dissemination.

Who can apply?
Medical oncologists from Latin America, including Brazil, who completed their oncology residency within the past 5 years.
How many positions are available?
There are 2 positions: 1 for Brazilian candidates and 1 for a candidate from another Latin American country.
How long is the Fellowship?
The program will initially last 12 months, from March 2027 to February 2028.
What is the expected weekly workload?
The estimated workload is 20 hours per week.
Is the Fellowship in-person or remote?
The program may combine remote and in-person activities.
Will there be in-person activities in Porto Alegre?
Yes. Fellows who do not live in Porto Alegre will participate in two in-person immersion periods at LACOG.
Is the Fellowship paid?
Yes. Selected fellows will receive monthly financial support during the program.
When is the application period?

Which documents are required for the application?

The results are expected to be announced on December 16 on the LACOG Educational website.
What activities are included in the Fellowship?
The fellow will participate in activities covering the full clinical research cycle, including study and protocol development, data analysis, regulatory aspects, and scientific writing.
